Lester Ragan Jr.
BLACKSBURG – Lester Ragan Jr. of 394 Dye Rd., died early today, April 27, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Ragan was the husband of Jackie Ragan of the home.
Arrangements are incomplete. White Columns-Blacksburg is in charge.

Inez R. Byars
Services for Inez Rawlison Byars, 80, of Apt. F-71, Limestone Courts, widow of William Byars, will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Gowdeysville Baptist Church conducted by the Revs. D.C. Manning, Bobby Dogan and Jennifer Hemphill. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers and flower bearers will be her nephews and nieces, respectively.
Foster Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Annie P. Foster
Services for Annie Pearl Foster, 51, of 143 Camellia Circle, will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Mitchel Chapel F.B. Holiness Church with the Revs. E.L. Lawson, James Richard and Perry Posey officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
The body will lie in state and the family will receive friends Sunday at 3 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Beaver, James Bonner, Timothy Fernanders, John Gibbs, Talmadge Logan, Dr. Harold Talley, Peter Good and Ricky Gibbs.
Flower bearers will be Rosalyn Camp, Ernestine Davis, Minnie Carol Gibbs, Lucille Holmes, Mary Lane, Betty Reid, Thelma Tate and Paulette Lockhart.
Foster Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Frances Duncan
Retired secretary
Frances (Billie) Bradford Duncan, 82, died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Skylyn Place in Spartanburg.
Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of R.L. Duncan and daughter of the late Roy S. Bradford and the late Elsie Hawkins Bradford. She was a retired secretary for Duncan Motors in Whitmire and was a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church in Gaffney.
Surviving are two sisters, Shirley Bradford McSwain of Columbia and Evelyn Bradford Batchelor of Laurens.
Arrangements are incomplete. Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home is in charge.
