Ruby C. Keller
Retired textile employee
Ruby Childers Keller, 80, formerly of 2757 Union Hwy., died today, Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in Brookview Healthcare Center.
A native of Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Wade J. Childers and the late Katie Martin Childers. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Draytonville Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Carole Bradley of Shallotte, N.C., and Shirley Alexander of Gaffney; a son, Jackie L. Keller of North Dartmouth, Mass.; two brothers, Amos Childers of Gaffney and Roy Childers of Forest City, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Keller was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Ramsey.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Shuford-Hatcher Chapel conducted by the Rev. Todd Braswell. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Donald Dellinger, Tommy Childers, Avon Childers, Bud Blanton, Blake Bradley and T.J. Gregory.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7-8 at the funeral home and is at the home of Shirley Alexander, 155 Garvin Lake Rd.

Ollie T. Jones
Retired textile employee
Ollie Turner Jones, 91, of 322 Overhill Dr., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
A native of Mooresville, N.C., she was the widow of Collis C. Jones and daughter of the late Edwin Turner and the late Mollie Boswell Turner. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, George Jones of Gaffney and John R. (Bob) Jones of Asheboro, N.C.; two daughters, Shelba J. Barnhill of Gaffney and LaVerne Price of Aiken; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren
Graveside services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens conducted by the Revs. Steven Price and Stuart Kersey.
Pallbearers will be Mark Barnhill, K.C. Barnhill, Greg Price, Jim Price, Robert Jones, Robert Phillips and Tim Bagwell.
The family will receive friends today from 1-2 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and is at the home of Shelba Barnhill, 1902 Wilkinsville Hwy., Gaffney.

Ruby M. Allison
Retired from Gaffney Mfg.
Ruby Martin Allison, 79, of 802 Fourth St., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
Mrs. Allison was the widow of Clarence W. Allison and daughter of the late John Crawford and Inez Gibson Martin. She was retired from Gaffney Manufacturing and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane A. Parker and Judy Reed, both of Blacksburg; two sisters, Edith Moss of Blacksburg and Betty Mills of Fort Mill; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Rock Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Brian Harris, Perrin Parker and Alester McKinney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Larry Jones, Larry Jones II, Wayne Jones, Tommy Jones, Jonathan Harris, Bill Parker, Charles Dixon and Jerron Daves.
The family is at the residence homes.

Zachary B. Ervin
Zachary Blaine Ervin, infant son of Christy and Phillip Ervin of 4273 Union Hwy., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin sister, Samantha Elaine Ervin; maternal grandparents, Conrad and Janet Martin of Blacksburg; paternal grandmother, Jimmy Walters of Gaffney; and paternal great-grandmother, Ruth Ervin of Gaffney.
Graveside services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens conducted by Dr. Charlie Barnard and the Rev. Danny Marshburn.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
The family will receive friends at the home.

Matthew B. Goode
Matthew Blake Goode, 2-day-old son of Eric Goode and Dorothy Willard, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Zachary Goode; maternal grandmother, Pamela Hensley of Gaffney; maternal grandfather, Ronnie Willard of Gaffney; paternal grandparents, Joe and Kathy Goode of Gaffney; maternal great-grandmother, Betty McSwain of Gaffney; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Goode of Liberty Hill, S.C.; paternal great-great-grandmother, Gertrude Henson of Gaffney; paternal great-great-grandmother, Charlotte Tracey of Gaffney.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Goucher Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Ashby Blakely.
The family is at the home of Joe Goode, 224 N. Green River Rd.

Allene G. Jefferies
Services for Allene Garner Jefferies, 90, of 1103 S. Petty St., were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens conducted by Ashby Blakely.
Pallbearers were DeDee McCraw, Jeffery McCraw, John McCraw, Julian Wright, Bobby Welborn, Kevin Yates and Doug Marett.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care of S.C., 407 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, S.C. 29340.
