Thelma T. Spruill
Services for Thelma Tate Spruill, 63, of 421 E. Montgomery St., will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. John E. Wilkins, Mary Jefferies and Danny Tate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at noon.
Pallbearers will be Derek Sutton, Darryl Sutton, Edward Camp, William Camp, Ron Williams, John Felton, Barry Wood and Larry Jefferies.
Flower bearers will be April Knuckles, Sally Bibbs, Lisa Foster, Lettie Shippy, Deborah Sutton and Stephanie Spruill Collins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Smith and woodrow Lipscomb.

James L. Jackson
Services for James Lee Jackson, 61, of 106 Carver St., husband of Wendy J. Jackson, will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Michael Bridges, the Revs. A. Sherman Davis, Vance Sarratt, Troy McDowell and Alice Dawkins and Evangelist Gloria Smith. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Darryl Goode, Burgess Haney, Jimmy Hollie, Charlie McGill, Johnny Sarratt, Cleveland Smith, Corry Smith, Timothy Smith, Timothy Tate and Marcus Valentine.
Flower bearers will be Cheryl Ford, Crystal Gardner, Lori Jefferies, Teresa Jefferies, Stacy Lipscomb, Acelia Littlejohn, Sara Littlejohn, Teressa Littlejohn, Millie Sue Shippy, Arlette Smith, Tanna Tate, Tania White and Angel Wilson.

BLACKSBURG – Robert J. (Joe) Black, 65, of 138 Bolton-Parker Road in the Cherokee Falls community, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements are incomplete. White Columns Funeral Service is in charge.

Winford K. Ruppe
Retired owner/operator of Radio Cab Company
Winford K. Ruppe, 80, of 208 Shanon Ave., died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, in Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Ruppe was the widower of Jeanette Mullinax Ruppe and son of the late Virgil Ruppe and the late Ada Blanton Ruppe. He was retired owner and operator of Radio Cab Company, a member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are three daughters, Donna R. Spencer, Debbie R. Blanton, both of Gaffney, and Lana R. Hughes of Roebuck; a son, Jerry Wayne Ruppe of Gaffney; a sister, Geneva McKinney of Chesnee; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family is at the residence.

Richard Littlejohn
Services for Richard Littlejohn, 58, of Whitney Place Nursing Home, Union, will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Robert L. Dover. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.
The family is at the home of his brother, Robert Littlejohn, 108 Oakview Drive, Harmony Hills, Gaffney.
