Gaffney wide receiver Quinshad Davis has likely made the greatest strides on the team this year.
And Clemson has already taken notice.
Davis was in attendance for Clemson’s season opener Saturday against North Texas State. Although the Tigers have expressed a strong interest in Davis, the junior left the visit without a scholarship offer.

NFL practice squad
Former Gaffney High star Andy Strickland was among eight players placed on the Atlanta Falcons practice squad on Monday.
Strickland was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a rookie free agent in 2009. He was signed to the Falcons practice squad on Dec. 22, 2009.
