WHY IS THIS FLAG ON BACKWARDS? –

First Sgt. William Bostic was a visitor recently at Northwest Elementary School and explained that the flag on his uniform was not mistakenly sewn on backwards. First Sgt. Bostic told the students that the flag is positioned in this direction to symbolize the fact that the United States Army is always moving forward, never retreating. First Sgt. Bostic shared with the students his thoughts on how lucky we are to live in the United States and told his listeners he hoped that they never have to live in a warm-torn country.
