The following cases were disposed of by the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office during General Sessions Court: Clyde Allen pleaded guilty to drug possession and was sentenced to five years and a $5,000 fine, suspended to time served and three years probation. He also must pay $500 to the public defenders fund. Randy Lee Duncan pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and was sentenced to one year and a $500 fine, suspended to time served and six months probation. He also must pay $500 to the public defenders fund. A charge of escape against Duncan was dismissed by the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Dominique F. Gathukia pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen vehicle and was sentenced to two years suspended to time served and one year probation. Ricky Benard Hughes pleaded guilty to three counts of drug possession and was sentenced to one year suspended to one year probation. Robert Allan Jefferies pleaded guilty to drug possession and was sentenced to two years suspended to two years probation. He also must pay $500 to the public defenders fund. Joshua M. Lee pleaded guilty to using a vehicle without owner’s consent and was sentenced to two years suspended to time served and one year probation. He also must pay $500 to the public defenders fund. A charge of improper use of a telephone against Cleveland D. Littlejohn was dismissed by the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Larry Lockhart pleaded guilty to four counts of forgery less than $5,000 and was sentenced to five years suspended to time served and five years probation. James Michael McBee pleaded guilty to drug distribution and was sentenced to three years suspended to two years probation. Five drug charges including two counts each of distribution of crack cocaine and drug possession and one count of drug distribution were dismissed by the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office. A charge of trafficking marijuana against Lisa Michelle Smith was dismissed by the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Marvin Robert Smith pleaded guilty to drug possession and was sentenced to six months suspended to six months probation. (Editor’s note: This is not the same Marvin H. Smith, 69, who lives at 125 Belt Line Road.) Melissa Wallace Smith pleaded guilty to non-violent burglary and was sentenced to five years suspended to time served and five years probation. She also must pay $500 to the public defenders fund. Joshua Grant Wilson pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a weapon and was sentenced to one year suspended to time served and six months probation. He also must pay $500 to the public defenders fund.
