Theater Charlotte will produce play written by Limestone faculty member

Limestone College faculty member Erin Pushman will have her play “Eggnog” produced at Theatre Charlotte on December 3 and 4. The piece is a part of 9X9 at 9, a series of nine Christmas shorts produced by Playwrights in Progress, the resident playwrights of Theatre Charlotte.

“Eggnog” is a comedy about a married couple from South Beach, Florida, who are adjusting to a white Christmas in the snow and ice of Marquette, Michigan on the coast of Lake Superior.

The Playwrights in Progress and this production of 9X9 at 9 is featured in the November issue of Charlotte Magazine.

Pushman, a faculty member since 2001, is an Instructor of English and Director of the College’s Writing Center. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and her Master’s from UNC-Charlotte.
