Couple married Nov. 6 at Buffalo Baptist Church

Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Bedford
Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Bedford BLACKSBURG – Kelly Ann Crook of Grover and Jeremy Bedford of Blacksburg exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at Buffalo Baptist Church. The Rev. Bruce Price officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Bedford are making their home in Blacksburg after a Caribbean cruise.

The bride is the daughter of Judy Crook of Grover and Lee Crook of Loris. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Higby of Meadville, Pa. A 2000 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and 2003 graduate of Gaston College, she is a registered nurse at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

The groom is the son of Mike and Terry Carlton of Blacksburg and Randy and Susan Bedford of Chester. His grandparents are Nell and Harry Lee Martin, Wilbur Bedford, Modra Bedford and Evelyn Carlton, all of Blacksburg. A 2000 graduate of Blacksburg High School and 2002 graduate of Spartanburg Technical College, he is employed by Timken Associates.

Music was provided by Elizabeth Ray, pianist, and Phillip and Monica Martin, vocalists.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Erica Martin of Blacksburg as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Barbara Cheesman of Hampstead, N.C., Leslie Grover of Shelby and Keely Smith of Blacksburg.

The groom was attended by Harry Lee Martin of Blacksburg as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Martin, David Bedford, both of Blacksburg, and B.J. Martin of Gaffney.

Ushers were Chris Ivey, Jason Ivey, both of Gaffney, and Jeremy Powell of Shelby.
