MEALS ON WHEELS DONATION – Cherokee County Meals on Wheels received a $5,200 donation from the BI-LO Charity Classic. A record was set in 2004 with over $3.7 million raised to be distributed in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and South Carolina. The BI-Lo Classic tremendously impacts over 400 charities. Cherokee County Meals on Wheels applied for funding to purchase a new convection oven and a commercial range that are much needed to prepare over 9,000 meals a month.
