Governor’s School for the Arts applications due by Jan. 20

GREENVILLE – The deadline to submit applications to the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities for its 2005 summer programs and 2005-2006 residential high school is January 20. After this date, applications will be considered on a space available basis.

Rising 9th graders may apply in creative writing, drama, music (vocal and instrumental) and visual arts for the two-week Summer Discovery Program scheduled for July 10-23. Rising 10th graders may apply in creative writing, drama, music (vocal and instrumental) and visual arts for the two-week Summer Academy Program scheduled for June 12-25. Students currently in grades six through 11 may apply for the five-week Summer Dance Institute scheduled for June 12-July16.
