Johnnie Lee Camp

Johnnie Lee Camp, 55, of 308 Camellia Circle, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 25, 2005, in Spartanburg Regi-onal Medical Center.
Husband of Kathy McCluney Camp, he was born in Gaffney, a son of the late Lloyd Camp and the late Mrs. Christine Linder Camp. He was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and a former employee of Limestone Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Rosa Mae Lindsay, Sallie Buckson, Annie Sue Camp and Luster Camp.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Chris Camp (Amanda) and Lamar Camp, all of the home; a daughter, Tonya A. Camp of the home; a brother, George Camp (Sharon) of Gaffney; three sisters, Miss Delilah Camp, Mrs. Everlean Allen (Lee) and Mrs. Betty Vernon (Rev. David), all of Gaffney; a niece, Lori Lipscomb and a nephew, Aaron Lindsay, both of Gaffney, who were raised in the home; one grandson, Isaiah Camp; two step-grandchildren, Tyler and Marcus Gossett; an aunt, Mrs. Ruth Littlejohn of Inman; and sisters-in-law, Susie Phillips, Carolyn Abernathy, Inez McCluney, Janet McCluney and Wanda McCluney.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Dewey Whittenburg, David Vernon, Tommy Twitty, L.T. Tate and Lee Byers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Wallace Tate, Robert Littlejohn, Louis Lockhart, Torey Jones, Terry Dawkins, Barry Savage, Ralph Phillips, Carl Dawkins and Kenneth Smith.
Flower bearers will be Wilma Dawkins, Peggy Smith, Bunny Phillips, Kathy Littlejohn, Thalya Phillips, Tammy Davidson, Angela Miller and Zina Phillips.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7-8 at The Gilmore Mortuary.
Louise M. Crawley

SPARTANBURG – Louise Morgan Crawley, 83, of 519 Magness Drive, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at Hospice of Cleveland County in Shelby, N.C.
A native of Gaffney, she was the wife of Therlo "T.B." Crawley of the home and daughter of the late Gresham N. Morgan and the late Winnie Phillips Morgan. She was retired from Toledo Scales in Spartanburg and was a former member of Prospect Baptist Church. She was a very active Christian woman.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Jimmie Morgan Crawley and his wife, Imelda, of El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Doris Bailey of Kingstree and Floy Lawson of Cowpens; and three grandchildren, Katherine Crawley, Elizabeth Crawley and Allyson Crawley.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crawley was preceded in death by a step-brother, Joe Dean Turner, and a step-sister, Fay Clary.
The family is at the residence, 519 Magness Drive, Spartanburg.

Doris L. White
Retired from Lowenstein and Springs Industries
Doris Lorene White, 75, of 93 Cypress Drive, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
A native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence White and the late Jessica Harlow White. She was retired from Lowenstein and Springs Industries and was a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving is a cousin, Jim Harlow, of Gaffney.
Graveside services were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Stuart Kersey. Friends were received at the graveside following the service.
The family is at 207 Eastbrook Road, Gaffney.

Brandon Isaiah

Brandon Isaiah Church-Keenan, infant son of Robert Andrew Keenan and Leslie Michelle Church, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Brandon was born in Gaffney.
Surviving are his parents, Robert Andrew Keenan and Leslie Michelle Church; maternal grandparents, Angela and Bobby Spencer of Gaffney and Lester Church of Florence; maternal great-grandparents, Jane and Ansel Teague Sr. of Gaffney; paternal grandfather, Bobby Keenan of Gaffney; paternal great-grandmother, Leathea Ogle of Gaffney; and two aunts.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Theodore Ogle; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Keenan; maternal great-grandfather, Charles Dean Largent Jr.; maternal great-grandparents, Cecil and Lessie "Tootsie" Church; and maternal uncle, Brandon Cecil Church.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Berry Memorial Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. S. Michael Miller. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Spencer and Fred Ogle.
The family is at the home of Bobby and Angela Spencer, 3176 Union Hwy., Gaffney.

Lillie C. Lanier

BLACKSBURG – Lillie Cobb Lanier, 92, of 747 Bear Creek Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
A native of Blacksburg, she was the widow of William Odell (Obie) Lanier and daughter of the late Seymore Cobb and the late Lindy Moss Cobb. She was a homemaker and member of Christian Fellowship Church.
Surviving are four sons, Curley Lanier, Franklin Lanier, both of Blacksburg, and Russell Lanier of Gaffney; a daughter, Doris Lanier Mullinax of Blacksburg; a brother, Seytoy Cobb of Blacksburg; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lanier was preceded in death by sons, Clemmeth and Lester Lanier; brothers, Austell, Bunt, Dave, Carl, Lawson and Lynell Cobb; and sisters, Lucy Childers and Rena Smith.
Services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Church, conducted by the Revs. Willie Lanier, Gregg Martin and Harold Dean Painter. Burial will be in Hambright Cemetery, formerly Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Jake Cobb, Anthony Lanier, Carl Edward Cobb, Roy Hale, David Upchurch, James Mullinax and Lucky Earls.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Doris Mullinax, 722 Bear Creek Road, Blacksburg.

Mary Haynes

Mary Ellen Banister Haynes, 84, a former resident of Gaffney, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, in Elbert Memorial Hospital, Elberton, Ga.
Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late Amos L. and Nora Austin Banister. She received her nursing degree from Anderson Junior College and was a registered nurse, retiring form the Gaffney hospital. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Graveside services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Nellie Cloninger.
The family is at the home of her nephew, Jimmy Banister, 226 Elliott St., Greenwood.
