The Tuesday Woman’s Club will meet Feb. 8 at 4 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Gene Childers. Co-hostesses will be Mrs. Richard Baines and Mrs. Wayne Whiteside. Members unable to attend are asked to contact one of the hostesses.

Fund raisers

Iron City Ministries Inc., 109 W. Cherokee St., Blacksburg, will have an indoor yard sale Saturday, Feb. 5, from 8 a.m. until noon. For more information, call 839-9783.

The voice of Triumph Worship Center, 179 Corry Road, Blacksburg, will offer a plate lunch Friday, Feb. 4, form noon until 3 p.m. The menu includes meatloaf, hash brown casserole, green beans, cole slaw and dessert for $5. Eat in or take out. To order ahead, call 839-0111. Proceeds will be used to fill the church’s gas tank.
