Ivan Parker to give concert in Blacksburg

Ivan Parker BLACKSBURG – Ivan Parker, one of America’s most exciting gospel artists, will be in concert on Sunday, Feb. 20, at 6 p.m. in the Family Life Center of Blacksburg First Baptist Church.

Parker has made numerous appearances on national television and performed on the Bill and Gloria Gaither Homecoming video series.

Parker is a veteran gospel music performer. He was voted Favorite Male Vocalist seven years consecutively and Favorite Lead Vocalist for six consecutive years. He has also been awarded Soloist Of The Year the last four years by the Singing News Fan Awards.

He is known for his versatility in music styles. While attending a concert, the audience will enjoy old time favorites, his greatest hits and progressive Southern to inspirational music.
