Narcotics unit arrest two for meth trafficking

Agents with the Cherokee County Metro Narcotics Unit have arrested two Georgia men for allegedly transporting a large amount of methamphetamine on Interstate 85. Agent Joey Guyton has charged Joel Dorante Reyes, 32, and Victor Manuel Camacho Solorio, 21, both of the same home in Buford, Ga., with trafficking methamphetamine more than 100 grams but less than 200 grams. They are both at the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. Police arrested Reyes and Solorio on Tuesday after stopping their vehicle on Interstate 85 near Gaffney, according to warrants at the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
