— Carolina Foothills Credit Union on Hyatt Street sustained significant damage Wednesday morning when a pick-up truck driven by Julian A. Wilson Jr. of Gaffney crashed through the front window of the business. Neighboring business Your Best Body also sustained damage to an inside wall. No one was injured. Wilson, who had just finished exercising at the gym, said the wreck happened so quickly he wasn’t sure what caused his vehicle to accelerate into the building. “I thought it was an earthquake,” said Alice Bonner, who was in the gym when the accident occurred.
