Jack Guest announces candidacy

2005-05-02 / Local News

Jack GuestJack Guest As a native and veteran of Cherokee County, I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Service Officer.

My wife and I reside at 1316 Swofford Drive in the Macedonia/Lake Thickety area of the county.

Military service consisted of 4 years in the U.S. Navy, and I realize the importance of benefits available for those having served their country. The Korean GI Bill allowed me to obtain a BSEE degree from Clemson, plus a VA loan to purchase my first house. I am a Professional Engineer (PE), with 42 years of design and construction experiences. My personal family life is church centered, including serving as teacher, deacon and other offices.

As the Service Officer, my deepest desire and pledge will be to serve all veterans, including beneficiaries, with dignity, compassion, and respect, while performing as the principal advocate for medical benefits being on a timely basis, including all other earned benefits.

I will appreciate your VOTE.

Thank you!

JACK GUEST
