Joins real estate firm

Don L. Wilkins & Associates has announced that Dawn W. Hoover has joined the real estate firm.

She grew up in central Florida and has lived in Gaffney for 27 years.

Hoover has a business degree from Limestone College and recently graduated from the Fortune Academy of Real Estate through Spartanburg Technical College.

She serves on the board of Cherokee County Meals-On-Wheels and is president of the Gaffney High School Soccer Booster Club.

Hoover’s husband, Dave, works at Freightliner Custom Chassis and is chairman of the board at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. She has two sons, Mike Skinner, a deputy with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department, and Matt Skinner, a junior at Gaffney High School.

She and her family are members of Grassy Pond Baptist Church.
