Perry K. Mardis SHELBY, N. C. – Perry K. Mardis joined First National in March as auditor. He is responsible for all staff activities within the Internal Audit Department which provides oversite to all bank operations throughout the organization’s fourteen offices.

Following undergraduate study at Charleston Southern University, Mardis received a master’s in accounting from Gardner Webb University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina and is a member of AICPA and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Mardis was a member of the Gaffney Rotary Club and the Board of Directors of the Boys Club of Cherokee County. He and his wife, Malagni, attend First Baptist Church in Gaffney and have two children.
