The following cases have been disposed of by the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office during General Sessions Court: Ismael Torres Govea pleaded guilty to one count of forgery less than $5,000 and was sentenced to five years in prison suspended to a credit for time served and two years probation. Govea also must pay restitution and $500 to the public defenders fund. James Lewis Littlejohn pleaded guilty to drug possession and was sentenced to eight years and fined $10,000. Jimmy Lee Littlejohn was found guilty of 2nd-degree arson and 1st-degree burglary following a jury trial and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Nathan B. Peek pleaded guilty to armed robbery and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. John Maurice Rodgers pleaded guilty to nonviolent burglary and grand larceny and was sentenced to 15 years in prison suspended to two years in prison and five years probation. Rodgers was credited for 30 days of time served and ordered to pay $500 to the public defenders fund. Garland Sylvester Simons pleaded guilty to grand larceny and violent burglary and was sentenced to 15 years in prison suspended to two years in prison and five years probation. Simons also was ordered to pay $500 to the public defenders fund. Donald Woodrow Spencer pleaded guilty to drug possession and was sentenced to two years in prison suspended to a credit for time served and two years probation. Spencer also was ordered to pay $500 to the public defenders fund. A drug charge against Spencer was dismissed by the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Earl Spencer was found guilty of three counts of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct following a jury trial and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Furman Wayne Tate Sr. pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and was sentenced to one year suspended to five days in jail and three years probation. A $2,500 fine was suspended to $1,100. A charge of unlawful possession of a weapon was dismissed by the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Samantha Alley Ward pleaded guilty to forgery less than $5,000 and received a 6-month sentence.
