Burns elected as SCADA vice

Sam Burns of Burns Chevrolet Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Gaffney was named vice president representing the Palmetto District at the S.C. Automobile Dealers Association’s annual meeting held in Hilton Head.

Elected board members from the Palmetto District are Jay Wakefield, Wakefield Buick Pontiac GMC Inc., Spartanburg; William Farrell, Farrell Chevrolet, Spartanburg; Joe Johnson, Dunlap-Johnson Chevrolet, York; David Good, Good Motor Co., Rock Hill; and Joe Trainor, Stokes-Trainor Chevrolet Pontiac Cadillac Buick, Newberry.

R.M. “Robby” Bennett Jr. of Bennett Motor Co., Cheraw, was elected president of the SCADA.
