BRIEFS GHS Booster Club open to public Membership in the Gaffney High School Football Booster Club is now open to the public. Membership levels available include Scout ($150), Renegade ($200), Warrior ($250) and Chief’s Council ($500.) Each level includes a membership card, booster club bumper sticker and priority parking for home games in front of the stadium. Members will have their names in the football program and access to the hospitality room at home games. Members at each level above Scout receive two tickets to each regular season away game. Membership dues and renewals are due by July 15 to enable shirts and jackets to be shipped on time. Applications should be returned to the GHS Football Booster Club at P.O. Booster Club needs ads for programs Hood fund-raiser slated for July 8 The Gaffney High Cheerleading Booster Club is now accepting ads for the 2005 GHS Football Program. If you would like to advertise and haven’t been contacted by a Booster Club member, call Kelly at 488-3427 (leave a message). Your participation will be greatly appreciated. Cherokee National will host the John Hood Benefit Golf Tournament on Friday, July 8. There is a $200 per team and $50 per individual entry fee to cover cart, green fees and prizes. Proceeds will be used to help cover Hood’s medical costs. The format is captain’s choice (4-man teams). Correll Insurance will sponsor the $5,000 cash prize for the first hole-in-one on No. 5.
