Kirby – Mayberry

Laquantra Evay Kirby and Deon Terell Mayberry, both of Gaffney, will be married on August 6 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Miss Kirby is the daughter of Paulette Kirby of Gaffney and granddaughter of the late James Aurther and Sadie Kirby. A 1995 graduate of Gaffney High School and 2003 graduate of Spartanburg Tech, she is an engineering technician with SCDOT.

Mr. Mayberry is the son of Belinda Mayberry of Gaffney and the late Dewayne (Pete) Mayberry.

His grandparents are Cornelius Willis, Francis Knight, both of Gaffney, Homer Lipscomb of East Orange, N.J., and Ullyses (Popsicle) Mayberry. He received a welding certificate from Spartanburg Tech in 2004 and is employed by Millard Refrigeration.
