Cory Jackson Drennon and Erin Amanda Pruitt SENECA – Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Burton Pruitt Jr. of Seneca announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Amanda, to Cory Jackson Drennon of Anderson.

Miss Pruitt is the granddaughter of Mrs. David Walker Morison Sr. and the late Kenneth Burton Pruitt Sr.; and Mrs. Richard Asbury Wicker of Newberry and the late Mr. Wicker. Her greatgrandmother is Mrs. George Herman Wise. A 1998 graduate of Seneca High School, the brideelect received a B.S. degree in biology from Wofford College in 2002 and graduated this year from Clemson University with a B.S. degree in nursing. She is employed by Oconee Memorial Hospital as a R.N. in obstetrics.

Mr. Drennon is the son of Dorothy Pitts Drennon of Anderson and Craig Alton Drennon Sr. of Summerville. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Alton Beauford Drennon of Iva, Eva Robertson Pitts of Greenville and the late Clyde F. Pitts. A 1996 graduate of Crescent High School, he attended Limestone College and is currently enrolled at Southern Wesleyan completing a B.S. degree in secondary education. He is employed by the School District of Oconee County as an instructor and coach at West-Oak High School.

The wedding is planned for October 8 at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church in Clemson.
