Police continue to search for an armed robbery suspect after attempts by the Cherokee County Bloodhound Tracking Team to locate the man were unsuccessful.
The Internet Cafe, 113 N. Granard St., Gaffney, was robbed at 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Police are searching for a black man approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 165 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt and either blue jeans or long shorts.
A police report states the robber had his face covered.
The man entered the Internet Cafe carrying a silver handgun and ordered the employee to “give it up,” according to the report.
The suspect held open a black bag and an employee put approximately $1,600 in the bag, police said.
No one knew in which direction the gunman fled.
