. A Grover, N.C., man is accused of walking into a Blacksburg woman's home carrying a sawed-off shotgun and robbing her at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, a report at the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office states.

Charles Ray Peterson, 21, is charged with 1st-degree burglary, armed robbery, possession of a sawed-off shotgun and public drunk.

The 23-year-old victim told deputies Peterson walked into her home along Investment Drive and told her he "wanted everything," the report states. Peterson showed her his shotgun was loaded and then cocked the weapon and took $50 from the house, police said.

The woman took her child and ran out the front door. Peterson exited through the back door and was apprehended across the street at a store, according to the report. Police said they found a sawed-off shotgun in his vehicle.

. Police seized drugs and a loaded .38-caliber handgun from a Gaffney man following a traffic stop at 2:44 a.m. Wednesday, according to reports at the Gaffney Police Department and Cherokee County Sheriff's Office.

Agent Kevin Wilson of the Cherokee County Metro Narcotics Unit has charged Gabriel B. Walker, 18, of Room 229, Peachtree Inn, 136 Peachoid Road, with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and unlawful possession of a weapon. Walker also faces traffic violations.

Gaffney Police Officer Chris Jones stopped Walker on Floyd Baker Boulevard and discovered he did not have a valid driver's license, the officer said. Jones found the loaded weapon under the driver's seat of the 1992 Lincoln Town Car.

Walker told police about the marijuana and two scales in his hotel room after the officers asked if they could go to his room to get his identification, according to police.
