Couple speak vows July 16 at Shrine Club

MR. AND MRS. KELVIN SCOTT MOORE MR. AND MRS. KELVIN SCOTT MOORE Leslie Lynn Burns and Kelvin Scott Moore exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, July 16, 2005, at Cherokee Shrine Club. The Rev. Sydney Norton performed the 3 p.m. double ring ceremo-ny. A reception, given by the bride’s parents and Sonny Richardson, followed.

The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Clara Henderson of Gaffney. A student in the respirato-ry program at Spartanburg Technical College, she is employed by Upstate Cardinal Medical Center.

Mr. Moore is the son of Catherine Rogers of Gastonia and Lee and Nita Moore of Smyrna. He is a technician at Wellstone Mills Inc.

The couple took a wedding trip to Charleston.

Music was provided by Pam Messer who sang, “I Will Be There for You” by Jessica Andrews.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her best friend, Pam Messer, of Gaffney. Maranda Moore, daughter of the groom, served as the miniature bride. Derek Burns and Dylan Burns, sons of the bride, were the ring bearers.

The groom was attended by his sons, Brandon Moore and Dylan Moore, both of Gaffney, as best men.
