GLT’s next production will have a little bite

The Gaffney Little Theatre will hold auditions for “Dracula” on Thursday, Aug. 11, and Monday, Aug. 15, at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 7:30 p.m.

The original “Dracula” was written by Bram Stoker and has been portrayed many times in books, comics and film. It tells the story of the Prince of Darkness and his lust for blood. The Gaffney Little Theatre’s adaptation of this classic has been written by local playwright Dr. Tim Bax-terFerguson, associate professor of English and head of the Theatre Department at Limestone College. Jamie Grindstaff will be directing the show.

The cast calls for 10 to 12 men and eight to 12 women, with additional support and technical crew. Show dates have been set for October 27-30.
