New Miss Cherokee County will be crowned Saturday

Tiffany Garner and Elizabeth Shirk will give up their titles in a pageant scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 13. Miss Garner is the current Miss Chero-kee County Teen and Miss Shirk is the reigning Miss Cherokee County. The pageant is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Fullerton Auditorium on the campus of Limestone College.

The theme for the pageant is “Carolina Girls” and will feature special entertainment by Brenna Bedenbaugh and Garrett Humphries, the current National Non-Pro Shag Champions. Mistresses of ceremonies will be Nanda Bedenbaugh, a former Miss Spartanburg, and Loretta O’Donald, a for-mer Miss Cherokee County.

Admission will be $7.
