Pageant Aug. 12 for children and teens

The Miss Cherokee County Scholar-ship Pageant will sponsor a pageant for girls ages 0 months to 19 years Fri-day, Aug 12, at 6 p.m. in Fullerton Auditorium.

Pre-registration will be at 6 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium. Photos, fees and applications are due at this time. Contestants will receive a num-ber and chaperone pass. Late registra-tion will be held from 4-5 p.m. Friday, with a $10 late fee.

There are eight categories: 0-12 months, 13-36 months, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-12 years, 13-15 years, and 16 and over. Included is beauty, photogenic, portfolio and sportswear. Admission is $7 for everyone over the age of six. Admission is $3 for chil-dren six and under.
