Miss McDowell, Mr. Peeler married in Aug. 6 ceremony
MRS. REX PEELER (THE FORMER HOPE MCDOWELL Hope McDowell of Mayo and Rex Peeler of Gaffney exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, Aug. 6 2005, at Arrowwood Baptist Church. Jeff Peeler conducted by the 3 p.m. ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Peeler are making their home in Mayo after a wedding trip to Disney World.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry W. McDowell of Chesnee. Her grandparents are John Miller of Spartanburg, Rena McDowell of Chesnee and the late Lionel McDowell. She is attending Gardner-Webb University’s master’s degree program and works at Cline Brandt Kochenower & Co. CPA.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur D. Peeler of Gaffney. He works for NStepp Hauling.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Yvette McKelvey, of Quincy, Mass., and her sister in-law, Courtney McDowell, of Cowpens as matrons of honor.
Miniature bride was DJ Robbins Walker of Greenville and miniature groom was Justin Thornton of Pauline, cousin of the bride.
Arthur Peeler attended his son as best man. Groomsman was Stanley Dover of Gaffney and ushers were Richie McDowell of Cowpens, brother of the bride, and Howie Poole of Gaffney.
