Jonna Turner has been named Academic Information Director and Web Administrator at Limestone College.

Turner, who had been associate director of the college’s Block Program since 2003, will perform a variety of tasks in academic public relations, including maintaining the academic information on the college’s website and designing the site.

Turner received a B.A. degree in communications from the University of South Carolina Upstate and is pursuing a master’s degree in communications management from Webster University.

“I look forward to working with the academic departments at Limestone,” Turner said. “The college offers so many opportunities for a great education and I’m excited about making others aware of that.”

“We are very happy to have Jonna in this position,” said Dr. Karen Gainey, vice president for academic affairs. “She’s a very creative person who will do a good job of communicating the accomplishments of our students and faculty.”
