Mrs. Loftis celebrates 89th birthday

Minnie Loftis of Gaffney celebrated her 89th birthday on Sept. 21, 2005, with a surprise party at her home.

There are five generations of Mrs. Loftis’ family – a daughter, Miriam L. Motts; four grandchildren, Beverly Motts Jr., Cherly M. Brown, Libby M.O. Ferrell and Sandy M. Maybin. There are 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, including one set of twins.
