Robert Sowell Hegler Jr. Rebecca Brene Perrotta Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Robert Perrotta of Sumter announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Brene, to Robert Sowell Hegler Jr. of Lugoff.

Miss Perrotta is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Douglas Williams of Liberty Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Donald Perrotta of New Castle, Pa. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. degree in history and is employed by the University of South CarolinaSumter.

Mr. Hegler is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Sowell Hegler Sr. of Kershaw. His grandparents are His grandparents are Charles Hamrick of Gaffney, the late Olga Barner Hamrick, the late Mary Sowell Hegler and the late Theron Carter Hegler Sr. A graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. degree in biology, he is employed as a pilot and flight instructor.

The wedding is planned for April 22, 2006, in Sumter.
