In accordance with the bylaws, the followng slate of nominees is submitted to the membership to serve a threeyear term, beginning January 2006, on the Cherokee County Chamber of commerce Board of Directors:

Dr. Hank Jolly dentist; Danny McDaniel Town of Blacksburg; Jan Moss The Palmetto Bank; Jim Nigg Stewart Engineering Inc.; Ron Owenby Gaffney Broadcasting Inc.

Additional names of candidates for directors may be nominated by petition bearing the signatures of at least twenty five (25) members of the chamber. Such petition shall be filed with the Nominating Committee at the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce within ten (10) business days after notice has been given of those nominated. If no petition is filed within the required time, nominations shall be closed and the nominated slate declared elected by the current Board of Directors at the next Board meeting.

Each candidate must be an active member of the Chamber in good standing and have agreed to accept the responsibilities of a director.
