Four area churches, each lavishly decorated for the Christmas season, will host the eighth annual Candlelight Tour of Churches, sponsored by the Broad River Baptist Association, on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Churches on the tour are Crestview Baptist Church, New Pleasant Baptist Church, State Line Baptist Church and Cherokee Creek Baptist Church.

The tour begins at 6 p.m. at Crestview and from there goes to New Pleasant at 6:30, State Line at 7 and Cherokee Creek at 7:30.

“You are invited to come and experience an evening of worship and praise in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ,” a spokesman for the Broad River Baptist Association said.

Refreshments will be served after the final tour service at Cherokee Creek Baptist

Church. In the event of snow or ice, the tour will be canceled. Special services planned at each church
