 Gaffney is going to win. It’s going to be close game. My prediction is Gaffney 21, Summerville 18. Jim Cudd, accountant  Gaffney 10, Summerville 7. They’ll win because they have the whole town of Gaffney behind them. How could they lose? Susan Allison, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office  I think Gaffney will win, 28-21, because we have a strong running game and a good defense. Dershawn Dawkins, starting point guard on the Granard Middle basketball team  Summerville is one of the largest schools in the state. They are able to pick their best players from a much larger school than ours. We have to contain Summerville receiver A.J. Greene. We can’t give up a lot of big plays. If we play smart and control the line of scrimmage like we did against Dorman, I think we’ll beat them. If Gaffney is leading late in the game, our players need to be ready for a trick play from Summerville coach John McKissick. For the seniors, this is their last game and something they will be talking about for the next 10 to 30 years. It’s up to the players to get the job done. Gaffney 21, Summerville 14. Johnny Humphries, Varsity Square  Gaffney will prevail. Summerville coach John McKissick is a legend. I think Phil Strickland is one of the great halftime adjusters in the state.
