Thief strikes on Christmas Eve

Dear Editor:

I would like to wish the grinch a Merry Christmas. This grinch came into my yard at a residence on Kraft Street and stole an arrow on a post, post and all, and a rain gauge. I have enjoyed these items for years.

They’re not an antique or worth anything to anybody but me. The arrow was made out of pipe and I bought it at a Salvation Army store.

I guess you needed these items worse than I did. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years. I feel sorry for you that you would stoop low enough to do this, but to do it on Christmas Eve was worse.

You didn’t steal Christmas from me. I had a Christmas surrounded by the love of my family. You have my prayers and I’m working on forgiveness because that is what Christmas is all about. I think God will understand if forgiveness takes just a little longer.
