The chapel altar was adorned with lighted greenery and hurricane lamps, similar to the greenery of magnolia and pine that enhanced the chapel’s stained glass windows. An arrangement of white calla lilies flanked the altar in memory of the couple’s loved ones who have passed away. An envelope of white lilies and greenery, like those that hung from the chapel doors, adorned every pew.
Escorted and given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin and organza gown. The fit-andflare dress featured an empire bodice that was elegantly embroidered and accented with beading. The skirt was highlighted with an insert panel, also enhanced with the same embroidery and beading. The back of the gown featured a full chapel-length train. Her multiplelayer fingertip veil accented with faux pearls was worn by her matron of honor in her wedding. She carried an arm sheath of six white calla lilies.
Amy Osborne Crotzer, friend of the bride, of Gaffney was matron of honor. She wore a floor-length black dress complemented with a beaded jacket and carried an arm sheath of three white calla lilies.
Whitney Claire Whisenant, cousin of the groom, of Gaffney was flower girl. She wore a sleeveless ivory satin and organza dress encircled at the waist with a black sash that tied in the back. She carried an arm sheath of two calla lilies.
Dennis Shackleford attended his son as best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Paige Powell, brother of the bride, of Greenville and Jason Wade Shackleford, brother of the groom, of Gaffney. Rhett Nelson Boheler, cousin of the groom, of Gaffney was the ring bearer.
The guest register was attended by Sara Christian Martin of Piedmont and programs were distributed by Victoria Danielle Martin of Anderson, both cousins of the bride.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was given by the bride’s parents at Cherokee National Golf and Recreational Club. Guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. John Quay Little and Kay Karns. Entertainment was provided by Gene Chapman.
