ARC offers shelter operations training

The Cherokee County office of the American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to be trained to work in disaster shelters.

In the event that a large number of people are displaced due to a disaster, the local Red Cross will need to open a shelter to provide a safe place for individuals to stay until they can return home.
