 TOP EMPLOYEES — Cherokee County Sheriff Bill Blanton has announced the employees of the year for the Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center. The recipients were nominated by their peers. Awarded for their service are (from left) Gay Snellings, sheriff’s office employee of the year; Margaret Lewis, detention center employee of the year; Jimmy Herrin, reserve deputy of the year; and Jimmy Henson, deputy of the year.
