Toxic Audio in Greenville
GREENVILLE – With over 200 off-Broadway performances, the Drama Desk Award added to their resume, and recently being named, 2005 “Artist of the year” by the CARA Awards, Toxic Audio have made their mark on the New York Theatre scene and have now established themselves as one of the most unique, original and fun productions in America. And the group has recently been nominated for a Grammy Award.
Rated No. 1 in the Wall Street Journal/Zagat Theatre Survey, Toxic Audio became New York’s highest recommended show,, receiving higher audience ratings than “The Lion King”, “The Producers”, “Hairspray” and “BlueMan Group.”
Toxic Audio showcased their unique vocal, comedic and improvisational skills at the famed John Houseman Theatre on 42nd Street in New York City. Within the first two months, the show won the 2004 Drama Desk Award for most “Unique Theatrical Experience.” They have since performed as special guests for the mayor at New York’s Gracie Mansion, for the New York Mets at Shea Stadium, for Robert Deniro’s Tribeca Film Festival, and many other special appearances.
