Contributors helped children have a wonderful time

Dear Cody:

I want to tell you and the other contributors who donated money to the needy children in Cherokee County that it was greatly appreciated.

These children had a wonderful time in shopping for their Christmas and without these contributions, they would not have had a happy holiday season.

It is very rewarding to me that this effort was made to assist those who are in need. It says a great deal of the citizens of Cherokee County.

I would like to wish all a happy new year.

Cherokee County Department of Social Service Reaching out to help at a special time of year

Dear Cody:

On behalf of the board of directors of the Cherokee County DSN Board, the staff, families and individuals we serve, I wish to express our appreciation of being involved in the “Christmas Is For Kids” program. This effort to help the community allowed us to assist numerous families in making their Christmas brighter.

Our community is very supportive of individuals with lifelong, disabling conditions. This program is another example of how people reach out to help at this special time of year. Again, thank you for your continued support.
