Wendy Renee Dingle GEORGETOWN – Mr. and Mrs. Claude Treadwell Dingle III announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Renee, of Spartanburg to C. David Grant, also of Spartanburg and son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Grant Jr. of Gaffney.

Miss Dingle is the granddaughter of Mrs. Norward Wheeler of Andrews and the late Mr. Wheeler and Mrs. Claude T. Dingle Jr. of Summerton and the late Mr. Dingle.

The bride-to-be earned a B.A. degree in psychology from Coastal Carolina University and is a special education teacher at Inman Elementary School.

Mr. Grant is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Grant Sr. who lived in Gaffney and the late Mr. and Mrs. Holland Owens who lived in Chesnee.

The prospective groom earned a B.S. degree in forest resource management from Clemson University and is self-employed with Grant and Sons’ Tree Service.

The wedding is planned for June 17 at Wayne United Methodist Church in Georgetown.
