Master Sgt. Hull

returns to U.S.

Air Force Master Sgt. Angela K. Hull has returned to the 6th Operations Support Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Fla., after being deployed to an overseas location in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Hull, an air traffic control chief controller, is the daughter of Peggy Bratton of Ben’s Farm Road, Gaffney, S.C., and the late Jerry Lee Harris.

She is the sister of Donna Swanger of Swanger Drive, and Lisa Price of Chestnut Ridge Road, both of Gaffney.

The master sergeant graduated in 1982 from Gaffney Senior High School, and received an associate degree in 2003 from the Community College of the Air Force.

Pfc. Swofford

completes basic

Marine Corps Pfc. Jacob R. Swofford, son of Teressa Swofford of Gaffney and Tony Lee Vise of Spartanburg, recently completed the Basic Electrician’s Course. Swofford is a 2005 graduate of Gaffney High School and joined the Marine Corps in June 2005.

Dustin Lynn Childers of Gaffney has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Radford University.

Childers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Childers, is a senior fashion design major.
