DeVore had 29 points and hauled down 13 rebounds to lead the Limestone Lady Saints past St. Andrews, 81-73, on Monday, and snap a threegame losing streak.

“DeVore had an outstanding game,” Limestone coach Corey Fox said. “She really hit some big free throws to clinch the win down the stretch.”

Tiffany Jones had 16 points and Reagan Robins added 14 for the Lady Saints, who improve to 11-16 overall and 812 in the CVAC.

“It was a great win,” Fox said. “Everybody battled for 40 minutes. It wasn’t necessarily our best game, but we found a way to win at the end.”

The Lady Saints led 34-29 at the break.

Both teams shot 38 percent from the field.

The Lady Saints had an edge at the free throw line, where they made 29 of 43. St. Andrews shot just 13 of 27 from the foul line.

Karen Foggie had 21 points to pace the Lady Knights, who fall to 9-10 in the conference.

The Lady Saints will now prepare for the conference tournament, which begins on Monday. The Lady Saints will host first-round game on Monday, Feb. 27, against a yet-to-bedetermined opponent.
