Deanna Michelle Davis and Lee Wayne Matthews III Mr. and Mrs. Scott Allen Davis announce the engagement of their daughter, Deanna Michelle, to Lee Wayne Matthews III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Wheat.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen W. Davis, Michael James Stockwell Sr. and Martha J. Stockwell, all of Gaffney.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Holler, Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Wheat, all of Gaffney, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Birchfield of Blacksburg, Shirley Carter of Chester and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wayne Matthews Sr. of Buford.

A May 6 wedding is planned at Pacolet Road Baptist Church.
