Local 8-year-old sets sights on modeling career

Taylor Covington Eight-year-old Taylor Covington of Gaffney recently returned from a weekend-long trip to New York City where she had the opportunity to showcase her modeling, photo shots, and commercial acting talents to several of the industry’s top agents and managers.

In addition to showcasing her talents, Agency PSI/MSM gave Taylor an opportunity to work with one of New York’s top print and film photographers, as well as a New York acting coach whose credits include clients on various sitcoms, dramas, and commercials. The New York-based management company discovered Taylor at a national child talent hunt in the South earlier this year. There, Taylor was runner-up in the runway modeling talent with participants from eight states attending.

While in New York, Taylor was signed to a five-year contract with Agency PSI/MSM. The management team arranged Taylor’s visit to New York City, and now holds the rights to the use of her name and photo and career biography for marketing purposes in the industry.

Taylor is the daughter of Kevin and Lori Covington of Gaffney.
