Reginald B. Hawkins
Dayton, Ohio native
Reginald B. (Reggie) Hawkins, 79, of 4180 Sylan Drive, Dayton, Ohio, died Saturday, March 4, 2006, at 2 p.m. in Granview Hospital in Dayton.
Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Hawkins, he was a native of Dayton and a member of Resident Park United Methodist Church, where he held several positions. He was a member of Habitat for Humanity of Dayton.
Surviving are his wife, Freeda Norris Hawkins of the home, formerly of Gaffney and daughter of the late Dr. C.L. Norris; three sons, Reginald Hawkins Jr. of Dayton, Donald Hawkins of Virginia Beach, Va., and Tranell Hawkins of California; a daughter, Regina Hawkins Williams of Dayton; stepdaughter, Sherry Walker of Yellow Springs, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Resident Park United Methodist Church, conducted by the pastor. Burial will be in Dayton.
