Clemson Extension Service offers food safety courses

Clemson Extension is working together with the South Carolina Tourism and Hospitality Association to offer food safety courses for food service employees. These courses will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at the Clemson Extension Office in Spartanburg County, located at the Spartanburg Human Resources Center.

For food service employees, a four-hour food safety course will be offered in Spartanburg on the third Tuesday of the month: April 18 and May 16. Participants need to attend on one of those days only and will receive a certificate in food safety from Clemson Extension.

For more information about the food safety courses, contact Susan Hovey at the Clemson Extension Service, 864-596-2993, ext. 111.

Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service offers its programs to people of all ages regardless of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, marital or family status and is an equal opportunity employer.
