Louise Parker Homemaker

Lillian Louise Hughey Parker, 77, of 117 London Lane, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 28, 2006, at Spartanburg R e g i o n a l M e d i c a l Center.

A native of Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Early Hughey and Violet Wisher Hughey and widow of James Rhett Parker. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two sons, James W. Parker Sr. and Roy Lee Parker and his wife, Alice, of Gaffney; three daughters, Nita Mae Waters, Mary Ann Bratton and her husband, Lee, and Judy Estes and her husband, Mike, all of Gaffney; four sisters, Maggie Patterson, Rosie Blanton, Linda Hughey and Brenda Jones, all of Gaffney; 13 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; and one greatgreat grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Hughey and Lewis Hughey, and two greatgrandchildren.

Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Abingdon Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Ernest Rogers, Dean Painter and William Blanton officiating. Interment was in Abingdon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at 117 London Lane.
